Football: El Toro Versus Mission Viejo May Sell Out

Buy tickets ahead of time at El Toro High School to ensure a seat at the Friday evening game.

Two undefeated Orange County football teams will take the field Friday in a matchup from which only one will emerge with their record intact.

El Toro High School's Chargers will take on the Mission Viejo Diablos on the Mission Viejo field at 7 p.m. in a battle for the South Coast League title.

Both teams are 9-0 and have racked up the points in prior games.

The Friday matchup could be an "old-fashion shootout," Lake Forest Coach Robert Frith told the Los Angeles Times. The game has the potential to be a sellout, El Toro High teachers say.

To ensure a seat at the game, residents can buy pre-sale tickets at El Toro High School on Thursday and Friday.

Tickets are available to purchase at the Associated Student Body office from 12:35-1:15 p.m. and in the Athletics office from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

On game day tickets will also be sold at Mission Viejo High, at 25025 Chrisanta Dr.

El Toro supporters will dress in white for the game.

Ticket Prices

Adult/high school student/middle school student: $8

Elementary school student age 10 or younger, with parent: $5      

Preschool: free
