Camp Overnight In Lake Forest's Pittsford Park

Grab a tent and sleeping bags and join the city's annual Family Campout in Lake Forest on Saturday.

Do the kids want to go camping, but that trip to Joshua Tree just isn't in the cards this year?

Then join other local families in getting a taste of the great outdoors by spending Saturday night in at the city's annual Family Campout.

Campers can start setting up at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The campout will wrap up Sunday at 10 a.m.

Participants need to bring their own tents, sleeping bags and personal items.

Pizza, campfire songs, games, activities and a morning breakfast will be provided.

Children must be at least 3 years old and need to be accompanied by a parent.

For Lake Forest residents, the campout is $5 per person; non-residents, $10.

Register online or at the event.
