Local Author Publishes Second Novel

Lake Forest writer Rosemary Hines' second novel, 'Through the Tears,' is released.

Fans of Christian fiction have a newly-released novel to add to their summer reading lists: the next installment book in a planned trilogy by local author and longtime Orange County educator Rosemary Hines is now available.

The second book in the series, Through the Tears, was released in May; its predecessor, Out of a Dream, is now available for checkout at , according to the Lake Forest writer.

The books, loosely based on Hines' life, follow the journey of main character Michelle Baron who discovers faith in God as she works through life's obstacles.

"Through the Tears is a story of hope in the midst of disappointment and loss," Hines said.

The novel picks up where Out of a Dream left off, with protagonist Baron facing challenges such as dealing with her father's suicide attempt, her attempts to begin a family and a college professor who challenges her faith.

Through the Tears and Out of a Dream are available online through Amazon and Barnes and Noble in both print and e-book format.

Orange County residents can also check out Out of a Dream at the on El Toro Road in Lake Forest.

Hines' third novel is already underway. Into Magnolia will detail Baron's first year as a middle school teacher, and revolve around the fate of a troubled student who threatens to derail her class.

Its release date is tentatively set for early 2013.
