Jewelry Fundraiser to Benefit Local Cancer Patients

The Jewelry Box, a Lake Forest jewelry store, is holding a two-hour fundraiser Thursday to benefit Breast Cancer Solutions.

Proceeds from a Thursday fundraiser at a local charity-minded jewelry store will go to Breast Cancer Solutions, a nonprofit started by a Lake Forest woman.

, which recently that doubled the store's footprint, is hosting its second such evening event for BCS, which supports Southern California individuals with breast cancer.

A portion of the proceeds from purchases and sales at "Night Out at The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest," from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, will go toward BCS's efforts.

Complimentary appetizers and beverages will keep attendees sated during the evening, which features a silent auction and discounts on full-price fine, fashion or estate jewelry.

A portion of proceeds from any items that the Jewelry Box purchases from its guests, such as old gold, silver, flatware, hollowware, coins or watches, will also go to BCS.

The event falls during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
